A treatment of blood disorders and malignancies, Hematology also helps to diagnose rapid sequencing of hundreds of known cancer-causing mutations with low-frequency allele detection. The results generated therein provides invaluable assistance to oncologists in selecting and manoeuvring targeted genetic therapies.

Our radical team offers a full range of pathology expertise and advanced laboratory diagnostics for haematology for consultation of bone marrow biopsies and lymphoid tissues. The lab has powerful systems to diagnose several blood deficiencies, genetic defects, anaemia, leukaemia and clotting abnormalities. Comprehensive tests for the identification of bleeding disorders and all types of hypercoagulability disorders are also offered.

The laboratory integrates highly skilled doctors, specialised technicians and strong automation to provide accurate, dependable results within a short period of time while maintaining a high degree of quality control in Haematology blood tests in Ahmedabad.

Our Clinical Biochemistry division provides comprehensive clinical laboratory services and automated analysis of blood specimens for certain assay groups including enzyme activities in body fluids, HbA1c, hormones (thyroid panel, fertility hormones and so on) anemia, cancer markers and many more.

Diseases like diabetes, heart attacks, infertility can be diagnosed by the examination of body fluids including blood, urine and CSF by our experienced team of professionals. These systems use chromium-based heterogeneous immunoassays, direct chemiluminescent technology and electrophoresis (Hb and protein). Apart from these, we have the capability of conducting other types of biochemical tests, Bio-availability study in clinical research, Clinical Laboratory Services.

We assist in the diagnosis, management and analysis of medical problems connected with several immunological and infectious diseases. We also support diagnostic testing for allergen sensitivity, autoimmune diseases, infectious disease and HIV serological testing.

Our team conducts multiple immunoassays, including radio-immunoassays, specialised endocrine testing etc. An antigen is employed to detect presence of antibodies to a pathogen or an antibody to detect the presence of an antigen, of the pathogen on the victim’s specimen. The tests are performed using highly automated systems that ensure quality results along with quick turnaround time.

We provide an extensive test menu, customized panels, rare parameters such as therapeutic drug monitoring, tumour markers and immune capillary electrophoresis. We work closely with pathologists for specimen testing with intensive care units, operating rooms, clinical biochemistry team and the division of Hematology to deliver high quality, timely and accurate tests. We support the diagnosis of disease using laboratory testing of blood and other body fluids, tissues and microscopic evaluation of individual cells.

Salvus Bioresearch is one of the Top 10 Clinical Pathology Testing Lab in Gujarat , besides offering Clinical Consultancy Services.

Flow cytometry is a platform where different, highly specialized assays can be performed. It is a technique in which suspension of living cells are stained with specific, fluorescently labelled antibodies and then analysed with a flow cytometer. Its multifactorial nature of the analysis makes it a unique tool in immunobiology today.

Flow cytometry can be used to measure the activation state of circulating platelets and their reactivity, diagnose specific disorders, perform assays relevant to blood banking, measure platelet-associated IgG and platelet count, and perform other research assays like calcium flux, fluorescence flux, resonance platelet recruitment and bacteria-platelet interactions.

Our expert team at Flow Cytometry Testing Lab analyses the blood or bone marrow cells to determine whether high white cell count is the result of blood cancer with an instrument called a flow cytometer. It also detects the residual levels of disease after treatment.

These tests measure the blood’s ability to clot. Coagulation tests are also sometimes recommended before surgery. Our lab is equipped with powerful systems to diagnose several blood deficiencies, genetic defects, anaemia, leukaemia and clotting abnormalities.

Comprehensive tests for the identification of bleeding disorders and all types of hypercoagulability are done with precision. The conditions that can cause coagulation problems include liver disease, thrombophilia and haemophilia. The intricate pathway at Salvus allows rapid healing and prevention of spontaneous bleeding.

Histopathology facilitates diagnostic examinations for specimens consisting of both gynaecologic and non-gynaecologic samples and all other organ systems of the human body. These include analysis of pap tests, body fluid evaluations, both macroscopic and microscopic study of the tissue. Thereafter, correlating the findings with the clinical and radiographic history, which hence helps arriving at an accurate diagnosis.

In combination with molecular biology and cytogenetics , we provide international quality standards of diagnostics with holistic reporting for our patients. Constant interactions with referring partners and clinicians ensure most accurate and seamless reporting. The laboratory ensures a short turnaround time. At  Salvus Bioresearch , quick processing and reporting is done for critical cases like transplants and other life-threatening conditions.

A microscopic study of diseases through fluids or tissue smears on cellular level, Cytopathology includes sampled fluid/ tissue from a patient, which is smeared onto a slide and then stained. We later examine it under the microscope through our anatomical pathologist to study the number and the type of cells and how they are grouped together.

This study helps in determining and diagnosis of cancerous and pre-cancerous disease, benign tumours, and some infectious diseases. This field now encompasses a wide range of techniques for a variety of tissues.

Our experienced Cytopathologists are well-versed in interpretation of challenging fine needle aspiration biopsies from a variety of superficial and deep-seated lessons and so forth.

Hormones play a significant role in the growth, development, metabolism, reproduction and several wellbeing processes. The endocrine system influences our heartbeats, growth of bones, tissues growth and a host of other hormone-related disorders.

Numerous methods like Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA), use of SPECT Imaging, which is a more sensitive and accurate type of scan, Endoscopic Ultrasound, 4D CT scan, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Positron Emission Test (PET), Radioactive Iodine Scan (RAI), are carried out as per the need by our experienced team in a customised manner.

Basic blood and urine tests are also conducted to check the hormone levels and conditions, especially in disorders like diabetes or thyroid to determine an endocrine ailment.

These blood tests look for antibodies in the blood. Different types of serologic tests are used to diagnose various disease conditions. They all focus on proteins made by the immune system.
